International Conferences and Exhibitions

The institute organizes International Conferences and Exhibition on Reinforced Plastics (ICERP) series event once every two years. The institute has successfully organized eleven ICERP events since 2002.

• ICERP 2002, ICERP 2004, and ICERP 2006 were held in Chennai.
• ICERP 2008, ICERP 2011, and ICERP 2013 were held in Mumbai.
• ICERP 2015 was held in Hyderabad.
• ICERP 2017, ICERP 2019, ICERP 2023 and ICERP 2025 were held in Mumbai.
• ICERP 2011 was inaugurated by Hon. Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Former President of INDIA.
• ICERP 2025 was inaugurated by Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India.
• ICERP 2023 was inaugurated by Dr. G Satheesh Reddy, Scientific Adviser to the Raksha Mantri (Minister of Defence, India) and the President of the Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI) .He was Chairman DRDO (2018-2022)
• ICERP 2019 was inaugurated by Padma Bhushan Dr. V.K. Saraswat, Indian defence scientist and NITI Aayog member. Former Director General DRDO (2009-2013), former Chief Scientist Advisor to Indian Minister of Defense
• ICERP 2017 was inaugurated by Late Padhmabhushan Mr. Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa and former Union Minister of Defense (2014-17)
• ICERP has become an ideal platform for foreign companies to collaborate with Indian companies and for Indian composites companies to showcase their capabilities globally.
• ICERP is the second biggest composites event in Asia, well recognized by the global composites fraternity.

The Institute organizes India pavilion and participates in leading composites exhibitions such as JEC World, China Composites Expo, etc., with the aim to promote Indian companies and explore export opportunities.
